Not only do we have a selection of rooms to cater for each size and style of wedding, we also have many years’ experience in hosting wonderful events. Our team are trained to the highest standard to deliver the perfect wedding so you don’t have to worry about a thing.
You will have your own personal Wedding Co-ordinator who will be your contact at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange. All of our co-ordinators have extensive experience in the arrangement and management of weddings and they will take care of everything from the initial plans right through to the big day itself.
Whatever budget, ideas and themes you have, whether you choose to have a small celebration or a large formal gathering, our Wedding Co-ordinator will do everything possible to accommodate your ideas making it your perfect day.

Where is the nearest hotel?
There are several hotels near by please look at our accommodation page.
Can we have a menu tasting with the caterers?
Yes menu tastings can be arranged – on occasion there may be a small charge but please do discuss with our caterer.
When do I need to give final numbers for catering?
Final numbers and dietary requirements are required 14 days prior to your event. Small changes can be made at no charge up to 7 days prior.
Are children allowed at functions?
Yes we have a family license so children are allowed at private events.
Is there car parking available on site?
Yes we have over 300 car parking spaces that are free of charge. There are also no on street restrictions in the area so parking is generally easy.
Can we have table confetti / sparkle?
Sorry this is not permitted in the venue.
Can we have confetti?
Yes but only outside the venue.
Is there a standard finishing time?
Yes it is 1am.
When will I need to pay for my wedding?
Once you confirm a wedding at the venue you will need to pay a £500 deposit, a further £500 is payable 6 months after booking with the final balance due 2 weeks before the big day.
Can I have a civil ceremony at the Corn Exchange?
Yes we are licensed to hold Civil Wedding Ceremonies at the venue. Find out more details about getting married in Scotland.
How do I confirm a booking?
To confirm at the venue please let us know you would like to go ahead. We will then issue a contract for you to sign and return within two weeks of this date. A deposit will also be payable within two weeks and will be sent with the contract.
Can I provisionally book a date at the Corn Exchange?
Yes we are always happy to provisionally hold space at the venue while you make decisions. Generally this will be for a week or two but this can vary on occasion.
How can I book a viewing at the venue?
Please contact the sales team on 0131 477 3500 and we will be happy to arrange a viewing.
Can I bring in my own caterer to the venue?
We work exclusively with Prestige Scotland at the venue so no other caterers are allowed at the venue.
However in our Newmarket & Bistro cottage rooms only we do allow you to bring your own cold finger buffet for smaller evening events. This is strictly done by family/friends and there is no access to kitchens or refrigeration onsite.
Is the room hire fee included in the wedding package?
Yes it is, there would only be a small additional charge for the ceremony if you choose to have you service with us too.
